PROMOTION
Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University Semra and Vefa Küçük Faculty of Health Sciences Nursing Department started education and training in the city center of Nevşehir in the 1997-1998 academic year, affiliated to Erciyes University. With the establishment of Nevşehir University with the Law No. 5662 dated May 17, 2007, it continued to serve by being connected to Semra and Vefa Küçük Health School. As of August 01, 2019, with the Presidential Decree No. 1385, Semra and Vefa Küçük continues its education within the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Nursing department; It trains nurses responsible for the protection, development, care and treatment of the health of the individual, family and society, and the training period is 4 years. During this period, our students take theoretical and practical courses related to the nursing profession. Applications of vocational courses are carried out in pre-clinical Practice Laboratories and Technical Classrooms, Hospitals, Family Health Centers, Mother Child Health and Community Health Centers, Kindergartens, Schools, Workplaces and Nursing Homes, which are available according to the content of the courses. Our students complete the undergraduate program with 240 credits in accordance with European Union standards.
Students who successfully complete the Nursing Department education can work in protective, curative and rehabilitative private and public health institutions, universities, public hospitals, health centers, mother-child health and family planning centers, schools and workplaces. Our students can benefit from education opportunities in domestic and foreign universities within the scope of Lifelong Learning Program (LLP-ERASMUS) and Farabi Exchange Program.
